Manifest sticky notes in a browser tab

Manifest is a grid-based pinboard for note taking. Kind of like in-browser sticky notes app. It feels like the kind of thing that would appeal to a minimalist bullet journaler.

This has been extremely sticky for me.

There is zero learning curve: click and drag a box into existence on the grid and start typing.

I still use the iPhone Notes app as surrogate short-term memory for shopping lists, and as a searchable point of reference for random measurements like my home’s furnace filter size, but for desktop tasks needing some text collected and arranged in one place temporarily, Manifest.app is it.

The notes are saved in the browser’s local cache, so they’re relatively safe there, though not permanent.

Out of curiosity, I tried it with my Apple Pencil in Safari on iPadOS and it works well, though I don’t have much of a use case for it there.

A new note is created in Manifest on iPad, using an Apple Pencil. First a rectangle is dragged onto the screen, creating the note box. Then "New Note!" is handwritten on screen with the Apple Pencil. The iPad converts this into typed text that reads "New Note!" in the note box.
